Hot Hearts 2009 will introduce students to the incredible truth and reality of Jesus Christ.  Through dynamic worship and messages that cut to the heart, your students will see that Jesus can and will change their lives, many in first time commitments.  Others who already know Him personally will be challenged to revolutionize their generation for the cause of Christ.

Feeding the People of Haiti one Family at a Time

The “Buckets of Hope” ministry is just one means by which Texas Baptists can fulfill the mandate of Jesus Christ to feed the hungry in the name of Jesus.

Texas Baptist Disaster Relief is inviting Texas Baptists to join with other Baptists across the nation in feeding the Haitian people with a “Bucket of Hope”.   A “Bucket of Hope” is five-gallon plastic container packed with selected foodstuffs.  For $40 anyone can purchase the materials, assemble a “Bucket of Hope” and include funds for shipping.  The food contained in a single bucket will feed a Haitian family for one week.  For complete information go to www.namb.net/bucketsofhope

Buckets can be purchased:

  • Wal-mart (UPC - 09826250640)
  • Ace Hardware (Ace# 17714)
  • Sherwin Williams
  • Lowes
  • Home Depot
  • US Plastics Corp.

By March 15, 2010 the “Buckets of Hope” must be delivered to designated drop off places across Texas.

Watch www.texasbaptist.org for a list of locations or call 1-888-244-9400.

Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center invites dads and moms, daughters and sons, grandparents, single parents and godly mentors to come together and celebrate your special relationship as a family. Family Camp promises to be a time filled with soul-stirring music, fun-filled Bible studies, and great fellowship opportunities. Plus, families can take part in many of the great recreational activities that are offered at Highland Lakes Camp!

Family Camp at HLC is a great time for families to spend time together away from the distractions of everyday life. Family Camp is the perfect opportunity for you to come and build memories, around the campfire, taking a hayride, star-gazing, shooting bow and arrows, kayaking, or reeling in the big one. The staff will serve you so you can spend equality time resting, playing, learning and growing as a family.
